Bennett Pope | Pastoral Resident

Having grown up in Minnesota, Bennett moved to Spokane in 2016 to attend Whitworth University. While he was a student, Bennett was involved with Immanuel for two years before moving to Massachusetts to continue his theological education at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. After completing his Master of Divinity in 2022, Bennett returned to Spokane to discern what God had in store for him. One year later, he joined the Immanuel team in August 2023 as a church planting resident. Bennett is passionate about cultivating safe and constructive spaces for asking difficult, faith-based questions. As he begins his career in ministry, he hopes to explore what it looks like for the church to adapt to its evolving position in American society. In his free time, you’ll probably find Bennett outside biking, climbing, or skiing.
